Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen is reportedly in discussions over a potential summer move to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal.
The 26-year-old striker, who spent the 2024–2025 season on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, is expected to make a permanent exit from the Serie A side this summer. His contract includes a €75 million release clause, which can be triggered during the current transfer window — although it excludes Serie A clubs. This means that Juventus, another club expressing interest in the Nigerian, would need to negotiate a separate deal at a higher fee.
According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Al-Hilal has already initiated talks with Osimhen’s representatives. The Saudi club is reportedly keen on signing a proven striker following the departure of Neymar in January.
Samuel Akere on Club Brugge’s Radar
In other transfer news, former Golden Eaglets standout Samuel Akere has emerged as a top target for Belgian champions Club Brugge.
Akere, 21, currently plays for Bulgarian side Botev Plovdiv, where he has impressed with seven goals and six assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. With just one year remaining on his contract and a current valuation of €1 million, Club Brugge has reportedly opened negotiations with Botev to secure the services of the Nigerian winger.
Arsenal Interested in Ademola Lookman
Premier League side Arsenal is reportedly preparing a move for in-form Nigerian international Ademola Lookman ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sport DE journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Gunners are set to compete with Juventus for the Atalanta winger, who has enjoyed a standout season in Serie A.
Lookman, 27, has contributed significantly this campaign, scoring 20 goals and registering seven assists in 39 appearances across all competitions. Valued at approximately €40 million, he may play his final game for Atalanta this Sunday against Parma.
