Today, I paid a courtesy call to the Dangote Group Chief Sales Director, Mrs. Funmi Sanni at the Dangote Group Headquarters in Ikoyi, Lagos-Nigeria. Mrs Funmi Sanni who is an Ondo state indigene is a Global Female lLeader with great humility. She is definitely an inspiration to many women and girls interested in cooperate services.
She shared an insight with me on the operations of Dangote Group PLC across Ten (10) African countries. With focus in Dangote Cement, Dangote Refinery, Dangote Fertilizer, Dangote Sugar and other Production units that made up Dangote Groups PLC.
As the Chairman, House commitee on Culture, tourism, creative economy and community development. I gave her insights into the legislative trade laws and ease to business in Ondo state with a focus on the EASE AGENDA of our Governor. His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. I also brought to her notice on how committed and dedicated our Governor is towards improving tourism in the state and how we are ready to welcome investors into the state to drive in more visitors, through image branding and thereby driving in more investment opportunities , job creation and more opportunities for the people of the state. We spoke immensely about the investment opportunities in Ondo state like the Araromi Sea side suitable for resort and training centers, Ondo deep sea port, Free trade zone, bitumen exploration n and Oil exploration across our Coastal oil rich communities mostly in the constituent that I represent and by extension Ilaje Local Goverment area of the state.
We look forward to working closely together in the areas of improving and promoting our state through tourism, corporate investments, trade partnerships, Public, Private, Partnership Initiatives, improved hospitality services and grand events and promotional festival.
We are optimistic for a collaboration and I am truly proud to interact with such woman of integrity and intellectual capacity.
