The BAM, Bamidele Agbetu Morden Foundation has announced plans to roll out a major educational support programme targeted at students in public secondary schools across Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The initiative, which includes free JAMB form registration, distribution of branded notebooks, writing materials, scholarships and other academic support items, is designed to ease the burden on students from low income backgrounds while encouraging academic excellence.
The Foundation operates under the leadership of Bamidele Agbetu, a philanthropist whose consistent passion for impacting lives has, over the years, defined his personality and humanitarian drive. According to the Foundation, education remains a powerful tool for social transformation, and investing in students is a direct investment in the future of the community.
The programme will focus on students in public secondary schools within the Iju and Ita Ogbolu communities of Akure North. Benefiting schools include Elu Iju Comprehensive High School, Iju, Anglican Grammar School, Iju Ita Ogbolu, and Alamo Grammar School, Ita Ogbolu.
As part of the intervention, specially branded notebooks will be distributed to students, while scores of brilliant and deserving students will receive free JAMB form registration, writing tools and additional educational support packages aimed at improving learning outcomes.
The exercise will be carried out under the supervision of Miss Kolawole Blessing, former Students’ Union Government General Secretary of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo. Other members of the implementation team include Mr. Temitope Micheal, Mr. Dizzy and Akingbade Toluwa Jolomi, who will jointly ensure smooth coordination across the three schools.
The programme is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 20th January 2026, simultaneously across the selected schools.
This outreach marks the second edition of the BAM Foundation education support initiative, following the widely acknowledged success of the 2025 programme, which positively impacted many students within the same communities.
With this renewed commitment, the BAM Foundation continues to reaffirm its dedication to educational advancement and youth development in Akure North and beyond.
