Hon. Queen Falasade kudenhinbu, an aspirant member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Ilaje constituency 1, Joined other prominent Apc women including the newly inaugurated state women leader and her executive including all female aspirants in a walk for more inclusion of women into power. The event, tagged “More Space for Women,” aimed to urge Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to create more opportunities for women in both executive and legislative arms of government.
The walk featured top female aspirants for State House Assembly and National Assembly seats across the state. Governor Aiyedatiwa has previously expressed commitment to prioritizing women’s inclusion and empowerment in governance. In fact, his administration has made efforts to increase women’s representation, with some women holding key positions in the state government.
Women’s groups in Ondo State have been pushing for increased representation, citing the importance of women’s contributions to development and progress.
