The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, paid a courtesy visit to the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade I, on Tuesday at the royal palace in Oyo Town.
Thepulseinfo reports that the highly respected cleric was warmly welcomed by Iku Baba Yeye and members of the royal household. The visit was shared online by Ajísebí Ọ̀yọ́ Radio, along with images and a caption in Yoruba celebrating the occasion.
This visit follows Pastor Adeboye’s recent message during the RCCG monthly Thanksgiving service held at the church’s national headquarters in Ebute-Metta, Lagos. He highlighted the critical role prayer plays in preserving Nigeria from deeper crisis, urging believers not to relent.
Adeboye shared stories of divine protection over the RCCG, including miraculous events in the U.S. and Lagos, where RCCG buildings were spared from disasters. He reaffirmed that the church is under divine shielding, urging Nigerians to continue interceding for the nation.
