In a strategic move to enhance inter-agency collaboration and bolster security across critical infrastructures in Ondo State, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Pipelines Surveillance and Waterways Security, Hon. Engr. Alore Omosuyi, who also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Charpman Security Services Limited, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Ondo State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Ibiloye Oluyemi, at the NSCDC Headquarters in Akure.
The visit was marked by a warm reception and constructive dialogue focused on strengthening partnerships for the protection of oil and gas pipelines, waterways, and other key national assets within the state.
During the engagement, Hon. Engr. Alore Omosuyi stressed the urgent need for synergy between government security aides and statutory agencies like the NSCDC, especially in combating pipeline vandalism, illegal bunkering, and other criminal activities that threaten both the environment and national economic stability.
> “Security of our pipelines and waterways is of utmost priority to the government of Ondo State under the leadership of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa. As the Special Assistant in charge of this critical sector, and also in my capacity as CEO of Charpman Security Services Limited, I understand the necessity of strong collaboration with the NSCDC, which has remained a key player in the protection of national assets,” he stated.
He further reiterated the complementary role of private security firms in supporting public security architecture, pledging that Charpman Security Services Limited would continue to align with government and statutory agencies to sustain peace and investment-driven development across Ondo State.
In his response, Commandant Ibiloye Oluyemi praised Hon. Alore for his proactive approach and dedication to national service. He described the visit as a significant step toward deepening operational collaboration and improving intelligence-sharing frameworks.
> “The NSCDC welcomes all efforts that help achieve our mandate. We appreciate the visit of Hon. Engr. Alore Omosuyi and recognize both his governmental and private sector roles in bolstering security across the state. Together, we can build more resilient systems to protect national assets and ensure public safety,” Commandant Oluyemi said.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement on the need for sustained dialogue, capacity-building programs, joint patrols, and coordinated surveillance, particularly in the oil-producing and riverine communities of Ondo State.
This engagement aligns with the broader strategy of the Ondo State Government to consolidate peace and security across all sectors, while ensuring the activities of economic saboteurs and criminal networks are effectively curtailed.
