On 16th of December, the President of the National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS) Global accompanied His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ondo State Hon. Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, to Idanre Local Government as part of the ongoing “Thank You Tour” being hosted across all the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
The visit held special significance, as Idanre is the hometown of the NAOSS Global President. The programme provided a valuable platform for engagement with notable stakeholders and political leaders from the local government and the state at large. In attendance were the Emeritus Local Government Chairman, the incumbent Local Government Chairman, the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye (popularly known as Small Alhaji), the Ondo State APC Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, as well as Hon. Amaechi and other distinguished statesmen.
The event was peaceful, well coordinated, and impactful, further strengthening the relationship between the government and the people at the grassroots level. The NAOSS Global delegation participated fully in the programme, with smooth logistics and mobility made possible through the support of His Excellency, the Governor.
The National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS) Global expresses sincere appreciation to Mr. Governor for his inclusive leadership, continuous support for student bodies, and commitment to engaging all segments of the state.
The association reaffirms its support for initiatives that promote unity, development, and participatory governance across Ondo State.
